The gadget has 4 timers that help new parents keep track of the basic baby tasks including feeding, & diapering, napping. The 4th button is a "more" feature that you can use for whatever you like such as if your baby is taking any medication. There is also a nursing reminder to show you which side baby nursed on last. Basically you just push the appropriate button when you do each task and the timer counts up to show how long it has been since you pushed that button.
So you might be thinking - I can get an app for that on my phone! You can, and I am sure there are plenty out there. Now I will tell you why I won't be downloading that app. In my world that smartphone I carry around with me means work. It is constantly beeping with emails, and other distractions. When baby comes I am planning on taking some time away from the constant emails and think it will be good for me to separate baby tasks from work tasks. Also since my husband and I don't share a phone but we do share baby tasks I think this product would make it easier for us to share basic baby care details.
In a nutshell this is a super simple gadget that can be a useful tool in the first weeks to years with a new baby. It is also an affordable piece of gear at under $20 on Amazon.
